Every Tuesday and Friday at 4:00 p.m in the Marine Room
Forest Ecology Trail
A self-guided ecology trail system behind the Museum workshop. Since this is an outdoor exhibition, be alert to changing weather conditions.
Harrington Homestead Cabin
South of the Museum across the parking lot, a historic cabin used by many hard-working homesteaders in the area.
Botanical Garden
A botanical array of 150 local species; each turn of the trail opens to a new community of flora. The garden is in front of the Museum. Garden tours are scheduled weekly. Call the Museum for dates and times.
Museum Store
Open during Museum hours, shoppers are admitted free of charge. Books, games and educational toys are available as well as Alaskan art and jewelry. Proceeds support Museum programs.

April 2003 Upper Gallery - WetlandsInvitational Thematic Art Exhibition (art/science) Some of Alaska's finest artists have accepted the challenge to create work reflecting upon and inspired by the theme of Wetlands. Scientists are creating a science component for the exhibit as well. Concurrently the Homer scientific community will host related workshops, programs and field trips April, May, June (dates TBA)
